For a full show inspired by the fae, w/fae-centric music of all kinds, you're most humbly invited to visit eclecticanetradio.blogspot.com. :)

The show includes bands such as: Faun, Omnia, The Gypsy Nomads, Meg Davis, Caprice, S. J. Tucker and many more. :) It was just put up Wednesday to be ready and available for the Thanksgiving holiday, and I really hope those of you who're fans of different types of music, as well as those who dig mythology, folklore & the fae, will like it! ^_^ (And hopefully, there'll be a few more faerie-inspired shows coming up soon! Including one general faerie-ep, as well as one all about merfolk & other aquatic creatures. ^_^)

Also, I've been drawing a good bit again as of late, and I've got one piece in the works, as well as a few others recently done that were faerie-inspired. :)

There's "Faerie Flame,"

"Shimmy,"

Thunder Cat! Ho~o!

  • Nov. 28th, 2009 at 11:04 AM
I rescued my kitty from an shelter/vet hospital towards the end of October. He didn't have a name for about a week until I realized he was going to grow up to be a buff grey cat!

XD So I named him Panthro.

So far, I do not have a Thunder Tank and he doesn't have any kitty nunchucks, but I'm working on the spiked collar part! <3

Here he is below. The best part about having a cat is... well, they're your own personal LOLcat 24 hrs a day. I realized early on, he looked just like Happy Cat, though I quickly found out that it is not every kitty's dream to have a CHEEZBURGER.

His is to have kibble. D; He doesn't like fish flavor.

I've Eaten All the Feathers off my Cat Dancer )

By the way, when do you think is a good time to give this kid a bath? I've had him for a month and a half already and he's not dirty or anything. He was born in a hopsital so he's used to being handled, so I think it'd be slightly drama free if I tried...

LF: undyed wool.

  • Nov. 28th, 2009 at 9:50 AM
I'm from Jacksonville, FL and there is only one specialty knitting store here and it is impossible get through to get any questions answered.

I wanted to buy a small quantity of wool to learn to spin yarn with (my friend made ma drop spindle), and I also am looking to buy superwash undyed yarn (to dye, obviously).

Do any of you have a recommendation of a website I can order it from? I would like to hear from people who have experience buying from a particular site personally (as personal as LJ gets, :] ) instead of just googling it.

I appreciate it in advance!

PS: As much as I can crochet, I CANNOT grasp how to do a round, anyone know of any good sites with tutorials I can understand? I've been trying to figure it out for a few weeks now. Knitting, no problem. Crocheting? Rips my face off and stands on it as it conquers me.

HIM CD of Love <3

  • Nov. 28th, 2009 at 2:25 AM
Well, I've been thinking about this for a while now and I've been wanting to make a cd of some HIM "lovey, dovey" type songs if you know what I mean. The songs that talk about, well, LOVE or being in love and so on and so forth. But I've been having a bit of a problem trying to pick out songs for said cd. So, I figured I'd come to you guys for help!

Basicly what I'm asking is, if you had to make a cd of HIM love songs, what would you put on it? I just need some ideas because I've having "cd makers block" lol

Yule Tree Pendant

  • Nov. 27th, 2009 at 11:05 PM
Walking under the redwoods one day, I was inspired to create a basic pine tree design. What I ended up with, however, looked more like a Christmas tree than a redwood tree so...I went with it! :)

Materials: copper wire, aventurine chips, 2mm mother of pearl rounds, and one copper spacer bead.
